I created an entire website, including the homepage, product page, FAQ, About Us, and Contact Us pages. Additionally, the platform supports both e-commerce and product rentals. I also provided documentation for the client, explaining how to use and edit the site with WordPress.

Problem Statement:

Problem Statement:

  • Some customers did not know about lab-grown diamonds and thought that mining diamonds was better, which resulted in them not purchasing or renting lab-grown diamond products.

  • Some customers are not able to see the virtual product at the store.

Solutions:

After analyzing the competitive landscape, including direct and indirect competitors, I discovered that creating the jewelry website involves three main points that are specific to this service. These points are crucial to developing effective solutions, which are:

  1. Provide a clear rental process to enhance convenience for users.

  2. Implementing a "Book an appointment" feature to conveniently assist users who are unable to visit the store. This feature opens a Zoom session, enabling them to review the virtual space before making rental or purchase decisions.

  3. Encouraging users about lab-grown diamonds, highlighting their benefits and sustainability.

Challenge:

Before conducting UX research, I implemented the API for diamond search visualization on WordPress. The most challenging part was that the embedded code only functioned on one domain and could not be tested on any other website, including local testing. I followed the process carefully, but it was not working, so we contacted the API owner to fix the issue. After discussing and resolving this issue, the result has already been achieved, and the diamond search page has been successfully visualized.

After completing the visualization, the next challenge is to conduct a UX audit for a jewelry website within the limited timeframe of 2 days, in preparation for the upcoming customer presentation.
